Production equipment's

  • When shooting this scene to use for addin's in our video this was the costume chosen for the artist. We chose this dress because its a style that's attractive but not too revealing because we don't want to sexualise our artist.
  • The gold prints shows some glamorous side of the artist but to small extent like how Jessie J only has a few gold colours in her costume like in the ancillary text analysis for Jessie J.

  • Here you can see our video recorder and the tripod. We chose this cam recorder because the quality is good and can record for long and we can easily install the tape onto the mac computers to edit and view the recordings.
  • The tripod is an essential equipment to keep the shots steady in different angles and positions when filming. For example when filming the artist from a low angle we easily adjusted the stand and lowered it.
  • When we did a 360 degree shot of the artist we also used a tripod because its more steady rotating with a tripod rather just holding the cam recorder because its wobbles and the quality turns out bad

  • The studio lights gave us more control of where we wanted light to shine and the angle of the lighting because we can also use the 4 blinds. This was crucial when we wanted the light coming from the side of the artist and when we wanted to get  an overhead shot because we needed the light coming from the top going downward.
  • Using professional studio lights allowed us to avoid creating shadows on the green screen which could badly affect the editing when there's shadows. So we had lights in front of the studio and a micro light behind the artist shinning straight on to the wall but outside our shot so its not seen.

Fan;

  • This was used for the artist clothes and hair blowing back to portray her in a fantasy and dream like way as people associate flying with dreaming.
  • Our artist looks as if she is flying because of the strong wind blowing her back. It also creates a superstar connotation because glamour models in photo shoots have fans to capture their hair blowing back.

Reflectors:

  • We used reflectors because it enhanced the light on the artist face to emphasize her looks and to put the focus on her. We also used the reflector when taking the pictures of the artist to include in our Digi pack and possibly poster.
  • It helps us control the lighting in a better way than a studio light would do because we can move the reflector really close to the artist without burning them and reflect the light in tricky angles too.

  • while shooting we took a photo of how the equipment's where all set up and then moved around for different possition's and lighting affects. Our artist is being prepared with test shots to see how its looked before carrying on

behind the scene:

  • you can see one of our team member Minhazur getting the angle ready for shooting.
